How A/B Testing Can Fix Your Website

A/B testing is a method of comparing two versions of a webpage or app against each other to determine which one performs better. A/B testing is essentially an experiment where two or more variants of a page are shown to users at random, and statistical analysis is used to determine which variation performs better for a given conversion goal.

There are a few different ways to use A/B testing. We can change keywords on the site to optimize the number of people that click on the site. The more keywords that there are, the more likely it is that people will see the site and visit it. It is important to put down as many keywords as possible that relate to the content/the site to relate to as many people as possible. One of the tests will show the site that is not high on the list on Google due to the search engine optimization/keywords, and the other would be higher on the list with the added keywords.

Headlines are another thing that can make or break a site. It's important to have headlines that are interesting, yet short and to the point. People do not want to have to read long headlines that sound dull or boring. They want to get to the point but be interested in the headline. One way to test this with A/B testing is to have a standard headline on one side and another with a quirky, interesting headline on the other. The majority of people will be more interested in a more captivating headline.

Hiring College Graduates

Hello,

My name is Becca Rieger. I am a consultant helping college graduates finding full-time jobs. I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2018 with a degree in Business. I have been awarded the James Monroe certificate based on the abundance of college graduates that I have helped employ. Since I started this position, I have assisted over 50 students to find employment. I have a few ideas I would like to share with you to help you hire some aspiring students.

Students are attracted to employers that have great benefits. It is important to advertise those benefits so that students will apply to your establishment. This may be health benefits, flexible hours, or even time and a half pay for holidays. Students want to know that their employers will take care of their well being. It's important that they see the benefits that will set your establishment apart from the rest. Another great tip is to explain how your business stays relevant and trending. The majority of students won't want to be a part of a company that isn't progressing. Explain that you have a social media page, and if you don't have one, create one.

These are just a few tips to help bring in potential employees with new, fresh ideas. If you are interested in hearing more about my consulting services, feel free to contact me at rebecca.e.williams@und.edu. I offer more advice than what I listed that helps find you the right employees for your business. My consulting could be the next thing you need to bring life back to your business.
